And that's exactly what you do, make a straight line for Ulysses, since there is no new areas to speak of, it's just a long, straight area with two or three side areas that aren't involved in any quests (there aren't any sidequests!). You basically have Ulysses taunting you with typical villain talk spouting pseudophilosophical crap while you go in his direction.
